The easiest way is to make a direct donation to the Blackbird Walk Projecct by clicking on, "Donate Now" anywhere on this website. This will transport you to the Monadnock Marauder's Website's where they have so graciously allowed us to use there paypal account management system to collect donations for the Blackbird Walk Project. Just follow the instructions on the webpage. (Coming Soon!)
The 2nd way you can donate to the Blackbird Walk Project is to partronize the following downtown businesses; Kali's Sports Bar, Ted Shoe & Sport, Keene Bookland, Citizen's Bank ( Main Street Branch ), Keene Chamber of Commerce, Cotton Tails, The UPS Store, Edward Jones, Unbridled Chocolates, Luca's Mediterranean Market, Earth Treasures, Hannah Grimes, The Railroad Tavern and Amicci Pizza. These downtown businesses have jumped on board to support the Blackbird Walk Project. As we know shopping locally allows businesses to give back to the community in many ways.
Each of the above listed downtown businesses have agreed to sell window cards (see link) for $1.00 each throughout the month of July. These window cards have a section on them where you can write your name. The business will collect your donation and will turn it over to the Blackbird Walk Committee. They will display these window cards in their store front windows to show support in the efforts to raise the $1 Million dollars needed for the renovations. With your name on them others will see that you have supported this project as well.
The 3rd way is to purchase "pavers", which are granite blocks (see picture) that can be personalized with a brief message. You may have up to 32 characters within two lines of print (16 characters per line. Get PDF form). These pavers sell for $125.00 each and will be used to create two entrances to the field, called the Blackbird Walk. This walkway will be a source of pride and motivation for the teams as they enter the arena of play and the community as they come to support our teams.
Please Note: The Blackbird Walk committee will review the submissions for content. Any submission found to be inappropriate will not be printed and NO REFUND will be remitted to the customer. So, please ensure you have written EXACTLY what you want to be forever a part of Alumni Field Blackbird Walk.
The 4th way is to purchase permanent advertising space on the bleachers. These 8 ft X 4 ft signs will display business logo's from corporate sponsors and/or individuals. These signs will sell for a minimum of $5000.00 dollars and increase in price depending on the location of the sign.
