Welcome to the New Hampshire Coalition of Law
Enforcement Associations web site. The main function of NHCLEA is to provide an
avenue that allows for the efficient communication with other Law Enforcement
Labor Associations in
This can be accomplished in
the form of cooperative training seminars; the lobbying of the state
legislature and/or our federal representatives; and if requested assistance to
a member organization in issues dealing with local city and town councils, and
individual employers.
This communication, training and lobbying is focused upon the issues affecting the working law enforcement officer, whether these issues concern retirement benefits, adequate pay, adequate equipment, due process rights, effective law enforcement legislation, or the ability of law enforcement officers to be treated fairly.
Additionally, when circumstances warrant it, the NHCLEA will utilize its communication avenues to provide information necessary for Law Enforcement Labor Associations to publicly address union issues that are of concern to our individual member groups or the organization as a whole. Publicly addressing these issues can come in the form of joint press conferences involving Law Enforcement Labor Associations, press releases, public appearances and public education.
Membership to NHCLEA is on
a voluntary basis, there are no membership dues or fees.
